    Default Greater Yellowlegs



    I photographed this Greater Yellowlegs over the weekend on the barrens in Terrenceville, NL. He was keeping an eye on a female as I belly crawled up to capture this image. This appears to be their breeding site as I've seen them here before.

    Nikon D7100, 200-400mmF4, Tele 1.4x, ISO400, F6.3, 1/640s

    I'm really digging the habitat you got him in here. Nice low angle, and the pose looks good with a nice subtle head angle towards us. This would look great as a pano with about half the water cropped out IMO - and you'd still retain the neat vertical lines along the water.
