I captured this image yesterday at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. I know the perch is less than ideal but for some reason that post always attracts birds.

Nikon 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF shot at 300mm (450mm FFE)
    1/1000 F/5.6 ISO 280
Normal processing in Lightroom 5, noise reduction to the background. iris enhancement applied to the eye with the adjustment brush. cropped for composition, bird and post 90% of FF.

I love it, Joseph! Clear, sharp, soft BG! Perhaps a little tight on the top? Nice one!

Nice bird, lovely clean BG and pose. I would suggest to keep the 3:2 ratio and would tone down the light a tad.

Great pose. IMO the image suffers a bit from the head being a little soft, and turned away. One of these days I'll have to get to Circle B Bar Reserve; seems like a great place.
