    Default Osprey Fishing.

    Attached Images Attached Images

We have a little pond close by and I check on it on and off.
Last night this Osprey was fishing there. Unfortunately no fish was caught.
He was looking down on the water and ignoring me all together.
The beak is not showing well but I like the wing and tail position.
    Thanks for looking.

That fanned tail is perfect! I like the excellent IQ and the symmetrical wing position as well. Exposure on the whites is spot on.
Although the head is turned away from us I think the image still works very well because you are showing him hunting.
    Nice blue color sky.

That is one sharp detailed osprey, I like the pose the bird clearly has something in it's sight. I think you have the composition just right - great shot.

Nice processing, The whites look very nice, A beautifully fanned tail, I really like the size of the bird in the frame, Not too tight , just right.

That's one sharp-looking bird! Wish the beak were separated just a little more, but you can't always have everything. The rest is a 100!

Like the composition, opened wings and position of the head. It's sharp with a lot of details. I guess the white on the head is little bit saturated. TFS & cheers! Miro

Karl you have gotten such a nice image of this bird.
I still dream about getting some thing close to this one! we have ospreys here but are not as tame as yours! :(
You capture some killer light, the fanned tail looks also great but I wish the beak as separated from the body.
