    Canon 7D Canon 180mm macro handheld ISO 400 fill in flash -1.6, 1/250 sec f13.
    I found this little guy as I was messing around in the garden, all C&C welcome.

    Sharp head. tail a bit blurry, but you got all those tiny legs sharply. Nice comp.

    Yes as you might imagine I took a number of images in differing poses but because he was never still it was difficult to get in focus head to tail.

    Hi Jon. I like the curves in the millipede and the diagonal comp of the leaf. For a moving subject, you did a good job of getting almost everything in your DOF. I'm wondering if the specular highlights were due to the ambient light or the flash - if the latter, I would wish for a little better diffusion of the flash. Overall, this is very nicely done!

    I like this a lot because it shows the beauty in something from which we usually recoil. I find love the composition.
