Nice behavioural image Chris, you might get one if you are lucky, but to have two, well that is just the cherry.

Looking at the image I do think you needed more SS, but perhaps just some more selective USM, is this cropped?

Magnificent image of beautiful pair in beautiful lights and nice habitat.Very nice poses with worms in the beak, nice BG and composition.
I like the blurred wings of lady.
What do you think about just toning down the rock slightly??

    Regards,
    Satish.

Hi Chris, great double, and what a bonus with both showing off their breakfast. Well timed to get the female displaying. I agree with Steve to try a version with a touch more sharpening.

A super shot love the interaction and the crane fly larvae. My first reaction was "great shot - maybe a tad more sharpening".

Superb frame with both in the frame, with meals. Yes to a bit more sharpening, but a memorable image for sure.

Sharpness issue addressed, but what a neat image this is! Love the light, rock, BG. The female's pose is quite fun, and I do wish the male's tail was swung over more towards us but that is asking alot!
