    Well exposed and quite sharp. I like the green BG. Perch borderline large but still OK and I like the smooth texture to it. Vertical was the way to go, but I feel the subject is placed too far right. Harsh light from top left gave you lots of shadow on the belly - fill flash could have helped with that.

    I agree with Daniels comments but still really like the image. I like the detail you have captured in the feathers and the catchlight helps the eye stand out against the black feathers.

    Nice image of this Shrike. Good looking detail and exposure and I like the BG also. Wish for a little better shooting angle. Nice work.

    Sweet bird, clean bg and perch. I've move the bird further up and to the left. Shadows aren't ideal, a touch of fill flash may have worked wonders here.
