    Default European Stonechat

This is a quite common species in Southern Europe both only breed in a handfull of places in Sweden. I spent one afternoon this weekend with one of Swedens few pairs of European Stonechats.
    All coments welcome!

    Hello Ivan,
    A sweet bird.
I like your vertical but could also see a version with a fair bit off the bottom ( to just above the flowers if the IQ can handle the increased crop)
    Perfect head angle.
I would back off on the sharpening of the bird a little bit. If not against your ethics I would clone out the second highlight in the eye as well.
Although I have made lots of " critiques", I like the image very much and think it is worth tweaking to take it to the next level,
    Gail

Cute bird and very nice perch. I like Gail's crop suggestion but I also like it as is. I would definitely eliminate the lower catchlight. Perfect head angle and I like the soft blue BG.

What a cutie -- sharp and very nice tonalities, with detail in lights and darks, but plenty of eye-catching contrast.
