This is a nice image Geoffrey.
I really like the IQ and the droplets on the bird.
Nice to see so much green in the image. Adds a nice contrast to the bird.
The rocky, moss covered perch has a nice diagonal " sweep" line that I like very much.
If I had one wish, I would wish that the beak did not intersect with the rock but that is hardly a deal breaker!
Super shot,
Gail

This is a very nice portrait of a worn winter adult. Sharp with a perfect EXP, a nice pose, and a nice setting. Getting just a bit lower to separate the bill completely from the rock would have improved what is already a very strong image. Thanks a stack BTW for your membership support!

Very pleasant capture. You could remove a little of the green background behind the bill if it suited your taste. TFS. Ian

Sculpting away that rock would be much harder than it looks, at least for me....

A very pleasing image. Nice colors and interesting details such as the droplets. Agree regarding the beak and the rock intersecting, but a minor point. I think if you have room, a looser composition would be nice too, not as a replacement for this one, but in addition to it.

This is a really nice picture of a Turnstone.

Good one, Geoffrey. Lovely pose and colors, nice and sharp. Intersection of the beak noted, but it's pretty tough to get any lower on the jetty. Interesting to note the difference in plumage between this guy and the ones we saw the other day on Reed's Beach.

Well done on the repost Juan but it is always tough looking at such major changes when you already know where the changes were made....

Beautiful portrait Geoffrey. Love the pose with the feet showing and the beautifully contrasting perch. Juan's repost looks great.
