From Ft. Desoto in March, this Tri-Colored Heron offered up some poses one evening. All comments welcome and appreciated.

Pose captured is fantastic, i love the way the guy is looking at the water to get the prey
the eye and the flowing crest is wonderful, not sure what the possibility was of going lower may have enhanced the image more
very nice as presented too

Glad you were able to find this TCH, John. Love the ruffled look, the prominent red eye and the slightly waving crown. You have amazing details in the darker feathers, and I think you could probably tease more out of your whites in RAW.
