    This frame was taken about two seconds prior to my previous post, from the High Island Rookery. About 96% of FF.

    D7000, 500f4, ISO 800, 1/2500s @ f/7.1 manual, gitzo and mongoose.

    Sharp, well exposed, nice angle in frame with no merges, clouds in bg and trees add sense of depth. Well done.

    Nice sharpness and exposure. Good eye contact too. I like the hint of green at the bottom.

    Really good job here. Excellent detail, nice sharp eye making contact with the viewer and the position of the spoonie in the frame is good. I love the colors throughout, would be very pleased to get an image of this quality.

    Lovely image, IQ is fantastic
    i like the way the green is in the frame and a dash of cloud , makes the nice frame, good one

    Great image, Bill. Wonderful IQ, and detail. The touch of green, blue sky, and hint of clouds present the Spoonbill nicely.

    I said on your last post I would have preferred a shot a couple of seconds earlier - and I do! The background is nicer on this one whilst the subject itself is excellently captured
