They are back again- performing well ! Well one is – I think she is sitting. They seem to love perches and the farmer just chucked this old bit of chain on a pole. They love it. Of all the birds I have done- Little Owls have to be the easiest They will just sit there asking to be photographed all evening.. I wont be doing much this time as it gets a bit boring- after all what else can you do after they have sat on every available perch around.
My mates of the ones “running” is about as good as it gets. But I won’t copy that,

Awesome, as usual! Never thought I'd consider an old chain to be an artistic perch.

    I do now....

The bird and perch are stunning. it is a pity that the perch is slightly masked by green.

What a thrill it must be to be able to photograph these little guys at will. You keep doing a marvelous job with them, and this is no exception. Keep 'em coming. I could imagine a little more room on top here.

Really nice, the repost does look better. A nice evening feel to the whole image, I like it and the perch as well. The only thing I might do is remove that hard white spot below and to the right of the beak.

    PS By the way
As i think the female is sitting its a good bet this is a male The chest and rthe face of the males are supposed to be paler or whiter - whatever.
