To me this is one of our most beautiful warblers. This individual was feeding in a spruce tree about eye level.
I know it sounds like a broken record, miss being in here but too much going on right now. I am off to Norway and
Svalbard in search for bird rarities and Polar Bear (with any luck). I hope everyone is enjoying the spring time be it with
flowers, birds, mammals, landscapes, whatever, get out there and take photos.

As always I used a fotosketcher oil effect. See you all soon. Ciao for now

It is a beautiful bird, and I like the fotosketcher effect, you excel with that program. There seems to be a tiny catchlight in the eye, maybe make it a little stronger?

You did excellent work with the program. Mine don't turn out like that! It is a beautiful bird. Good luck with the birds on your trip!!

Paul, I'm a card-carrying member of the have-binoculars-&-camera-will-travel club and know how it is! Have a great time and lots of good sightings! I like the combination of painting & sketching look you achieved with the very appropriately named "fotosketcher". I agree with Jackie about the catch light in the eye. Would be good to make that more obvious.

Lovely bird and work. I'm definitely going to try Fotosketcher. Agree about catchlight. This is a lovely, spring photo. Happy travelling.

Agree with the above. Have a wonderful trip....didn't know there are polar bears in Norway. Be careful! Take lots of photos!

Paul, a fantastic piece, I love how the branch becomes part of the subject due to the use of negative space. Strong composition and excellent color. Best of luck on your journey!
