    From my back yard set up. The male was feeding the female sunflower seeds after he removed the shell!

    This a an un-cropped image.

    The light in this image is quite nice, lovely interaction also. BG looks great as it does not distract from the main subjects. I do wish the perch was not broken though.

    One of my favorite species, congratulations on a great shot getting the pair interacting with each other. I like the perch but would try to lighten the very dark parts of the BG just a little bit.

    Absolutely killer perch and BG. When I saw this thumbnail, I knew it was yours. :) Very well done. The only thing that could have improved this image for me (and I know you're not a miracle worker) is had a bit more of the female's lower body been more visible.
