    Very nice!
I like the clearly viewed horns and the raised foot.
    Beautiful light and great IQ.
I feel like it needs a bit more contrast or perhaps boost the blacks in the neutrals in selective color in PS by a point or two.
    Well done,
    Gail

Hi Binu, love the soft light, and you managed a great angled pose - the raised foot takes this up a notch. The feather detail shows up nicely, and interesting detail on the head. I havent seen this species before. Killer smooth BG too.

One of the best shots of Horned Lark I have seen in a long time, Binu. That Lichen covered perch is great and the raised foot is a nice touch. BG and lighting are very nice too.

Excellent pose and details. I like the raised foot head turn and showing the horns.

Just love the leg up pose and the head turn. Rock perch has a lot of character and a clean bg such as this is always a plus.

    Very nice one!
Lovely sweet light, great pose, HA and the rock loaded with lichens is a plus for me.

Thanks Sid! No, I didn't use hide as they were very cooperative and I could get very close to them without a hide!

Nice shot Binu. Love the fact that we can see the horns and the light and the angle look great. I agree that a bit of black or a few points of contrast would help this already sweet image. Well done

Thank you! I've boosted the contrast a bit as you suggested.
