Another grey day in the sub-Antarctic, 3 January 2014, off Auckland Island. White-capped Albatross breed on islands in the NZ sub-Antarctic and a few islands off Tasmania where it is called Shy Albatross.

I like that you have a relatively low angle that allows us to see the sea waves quite clearly at bottom. Good pose, I especially like the near wing and rounded back. My feeling is that the image would also work well with some cropped off the top. Very nice image :-)

You got some great details to display in this one. Light seems a bit soft but I guess it helped you to get the right exposure. If mine, I would place the bird higher in the frame if possible. Still a great picture.
