Very lovely image showing a very nice moment in nature.
Love how both beaks are touching each other right in the tip. Also, the OOF vegetation plays a nice balance in the image but the one in the very LRH would go in my opinion as that one is just too close to the edge of the frame.
Also if this image was mine I would boost exposure, would try to define more details on both birdīs caps and finally would warm things a tad in white balance.

Super behavior captured and love that pose!!! Wishing to see more details in the whites and blacks here. You had a great low angle but I think I'm wishing for a little less FG in this case which would be an easy fix.

Hi Robert, Wonderful moment captured here, well done. I agree with Marina and Juan Carlos regarding detail recovery but it may not be easy from the blacks without bringing up the noise.

Nice moment captured here, Robert! One day they're going to build camaras that show black eyes clearly between black feathers...!

I like the image alot, and the suggested tweaks will bring it to the next level. A tender moment you got here.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I am on board with all of it. My assessment before posting was that the birds gave me an excellent pose, yet the image was somewhat soft. I will take the suggestions and rework it this weekend. Thanks.
