Wood Warbler

This Wood Warbler, together with a Blackcap, gave my first opportunities of some backyard photography. I was so excited and it will be great fun developing a good set up for these guys during the summer. All comments welcome!

Nice pose. EXP and head angle good and I like the BKGR and the head angle. Perch is much too large for this species.

great details and pose, perch is not the best but not that bad. I see a heavy magenta cast on whites.

Nice composition and bird position. From my point of view the perch could be too large but it looks pure natural with good shape. BG is +++++ . Cheers! Miro.

Hi Ivan
The first ting I picked up was the Magenta cast, easy to fix with Sat layer.
Love the BG!
Would lighten eye a bit.
Nice capture!

Lovely pose and bg. Magenta noted. I rather like the way the bird is nestled in the curve of the perch.

Minor points covered. I think you have done very well to capture this, I have spent several days listening to these in the Lake District and have hardly got a sight of them let alone photograph them.

Nice pose and detail., Ivan. I also think that you have magenta cast. It would be easy to remove.
