I really like the soft look you achieved. A storm cloud . . . I have no idea how you came up with that idea, but it works very well. The colors are wonderful, and the diagonals are a great element. Very nicely done.

Nice image and application, Jackie. Like the soft colors and alignment of the flowers.
I might have toned down the one on the left.

Very pretty Jackie. I like how the bloom on the end of the stem is fading into the background. Nice use of texture and color.

It all works together in texture and tone. Storm cloud? wouldn't have thought of that myself. good use. the one on the left almost disappears, and I'm not sure if it should be a tad brighter or not to match the others. your vision.

Thanks for the comments. The cloud gave it the darks and lights, to an otherwise flat image. Since they look like they are blowing in the wind and look fairly translucent to me I like the diminished look of the bud on the left.

For what it's worth, I agree. It's good that the bud and that part of the stem are fading into the background.

I like it! Are the reds in the bg from the original bleeding heart photo? An interesting idea. I like the bg and the colors and the muted tones. I also like the light and shadows on the individual flowers. Very nice work.

Thanks Anita, the red in the BG is from a different Bleeding Heart picture at a really low opacity. I appreciate your comments.
