Here Comes The Storm -
Norfolk Island, Australia
A lot was done to this image in Photoshop using a variety of techniques including adding canvass and a new sky. The easiest way to explain is to show. Again, is this a OOTB type image given the post processing?

"Nature Interpreted" - Photography begins with your mind and eyes, and ends with an image representing your vision and your reality of the captured scene; photography exceeds the camera sensor's limitations. Capturing and Processing landscapes and seascapes allows me to express my vision and reality of Nature.

Your processing, including the added sky, certainly made the image more dramatic and appealing. The added color is great in the foreground. First the breaking waves, then the clouds further in the background add to the sense that a storm is approaching. Very nicely done.
Coming from me, it definitely isn't official, but it sure seems like an image that fits very well in OOTB. Thanks for posting it here.

Yes I think it is OOTB because of the altered sky. Did you use a sky from another image? It looks like a lot of work?

Hi Jackie, I keep a folder with lots of different skies that I shoot whenever I see an interesting sky. This was not much work at al compared to blending in a sky where there are trees and the sky peaks through the leaves and branches.

I think this image belongs here. Lovely work. The crop is just right. The added clouds and sky are beautiful, blend in naturally and add power to the photo. I find the land and water in the foreground create interesting shapes. Thanks for posting this here.
