    Default Yellow Warbler

Setup perch (I had set up a few perches of different sizes, not knowing what to expect. Of course the tiny warbler chose the thickest perch :)

4+ hour drive for warblers, 4 hours in a blind and this is almost all I come back with :) But no complaints, I was a bit late for spring migration.
    All input appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Sid, 4 hrs there, and a 4 hr shoot, thats dedication. I thought driving for 2 hrs for my kingfishers was dedication. Love the yellow against the darker BG, and good detail on the little guy. I like the curvature of your perch together with the visible lichen on top. I like that you left space below the perch, but on a personal thing, I would maybe take a bit off the top.

What a beautiful little bird and the Lichen covered perch has some super fine detail. Very smart image, Sid.

    Very very nice.
Light has given this image a very dramatic feel.
I love the BG in this shot.
I might be tempted to take a sliver off the RHS but lovely as is,
    Gail
