    another super bird in your series Freddy....wish you could have been a bit lower or able to get better bg isolation(minor nit)

    strange bg.....rocks?

    You did well with the bird here Freddy! I have mixed feelings about the BG. On the one hand, I like the way the moss parallels the bird's back. On the other hand, the green of the moss really draws my eye away from the bird. Also, there is a visible line coursing over the top of the bird and in front of it from mid-breast to the right of the frame where it looks like you blurred the BG. It's tough when the BG is close to the subject!

    good eye seeing the blur line...I also see one along the edge of tail; feathers

    Very nice, Freddy. a bird I have never seen. I agree with the previous comments --but really a very pleasing image.
    I like the richness of the colors.
