1:The light is from the wrong angle. 2: the fish is facing away 3: the bird's eye isn't completely visible.
So why did I post this? I guess I was amazed at the narrowness of the bird's neck and the size of the fish.

Hi Susan,
I do like the way the eye peers over the fish. Did he get to swallow it?? Sometimes they catch them and the fish is too big to swallow! A little tight on bottom.......but the action and story are nice......water bg does look a bit funky on my monitor...still.....it's always fun to watch and experience this.........maybe next time he'll face the right way for you!
Hi Susan Agree with your points and with Roman on the bottom being tight. Do think its a very good image showing a good behavior. Just a tiny turn would have turned into something spectacular!!! Amazing how they can swallow these things !!!
Wow--this is surely amazing! It looks like the Loch Ness monster.
I wonder if you added some canvas to the right and cropped more off the left (if this is OK with you) if it would help improve this image?
Good self-critique and funky water comments by Mr. Curry-Check. Going vertical would have been the right thing to do.
Does anybody know the species of fish???
