Tough to get them in the open, but a cooperative pair offered quite a few opportunities in a short amount of time. They are likely a breeding pair, here's the smaller of two - and this one had a brighter eyebrow and a white throat which the other did not have. Not often we get such a clear view - hope you like it!

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/6.3, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, cropped right and bottom to improve the comp. Audio used.

This is a very nice species and I believe it is not common to find them in the open. Love the pose and eye contact in this one. I would just darken/sat the green weeds in the foreground.

Yes I like the low angle and the strong eye contact, the raised foot is the icing on the cake.

Amazing. Just getting one in the open is a coup; getting a perfect pose must have made your day. Your usual great low POV. Well done.

Hi Daniel, this is the POV I really love to see, eye level with the subject with a hint of mush in the FG, cool. Great to see you managed to coax the subject out and get a full subject in frame. Nice to have an uncluttered BKG for subject separation/standout.

Superb shot. If they are anything like our rails I can appreciate just how good this is. Outstanding.
