    Default Springtime in Paris

Took this a while ago on a trip to Paris. It was in a courtyard of some sort, and I like the reflections in the balls that were in the fountain. If you look hard you can see me in the front most orb. (Kind of a where's Waldo.) I applied a lavender texture and added a cool tone to bring out the metallic look.

Jackie, this is very creative and intriguing! One is left wondering just what size are those balls? They appear huge. Great composition with the repeating elements of balls, reflections and curves. The lavender and cool tone do bring out the metallic look very well and the wet coating adds subtle contrasting texture. Super well seen and processed!

If you judge an image's success by how long the viewer is engaged, you can consider this one a real winner. The color, reflections, water droplets, composition, and range of tones all work very nicely. I'll no doubt return to enjoy this again.

    Jackie,

Greetings. What a beautiful image! I'm reminded for some reason of MC Escher. The color is superb. Good show.

    Cheers,

Great image. Excellent composition. The reflections are placed nicely--just above center-- in the balls. The water drops add a texture making the top of the balls look different than the bottom. The color is just right.

What an interesting subject! Amazing actually. Your processing really brings out all the details and I like the lavender tint.

Jackie, I love this! I have had this abstract idea with reflective spheres bouncing around in my head for a while now, and here you've found an existing subject! Your processing really enhances the reflection while downplaying what could be overpowering reflective surfaces. As noted above-Just right!

Very creative and engaging, what a super eye you have to see these possibilities. The one in the center seems to be smiling at me... Great job!
