I dug out this old image from 2008 and reworked it, all comments are welcome.

This is beautiful, Jon. Composition, subject, sharpness, color and background are all excellent. The only suggestion I would make is to remove the lower leaf, which I find somewhat distracting. But this is fine as is.

Nice one Jon You beat me by 10 seconds !!
Iwas just about to put an orange tiip on food plant (Cardimine) and you beat me to it. (it will keep)
Nice one . Better if the lower wings in focus but no big deal. USM might do it but you can't put wot aint there - as they say.
    Cheers

Very nice -- the old 20D wasn't bad, was it? Think I might do without the horizontal leaf, but not a big problem.

The composition, colors and subtlety are winning. I don't mind the horizontal green spear across the bottom...a little wabi-sabi is a good thing (autocorrect wanted to make that wabi wabi, which wabi-sabi's wabi-sabi).

Super image, Jon - and certainly worth reworking! Soft light, very good overall sharpness, nice detail in the whites, a clean background, and a nice comp. The horizontal leaf does not bother me.
