    Hi Raymond !!! Impressive detail at that low shutter speed !!! With the D300 do not hesitate to go higher. I don't find much trouble up to 640-800 range.

    The one light stripe in the bg is eye catching but should be very easy to remove if you choose. Would also move the bird to the right, as presented is very centered. A little more dof would have gotten both eyes sharp but do like it as presented !!!!

    Nice image, Ray--under less than ideal conditions. I agree that the light stripe in the bg is distracting a bit.

    A nice clean perch for a warbler is always a plus. The oof white thingie is a bummer. The image looks a bit over-sharpened to me, and, as always, and even though the light was relatively soft, working off light angle (the light is from our left), causes problems... The left side of the face is in the shade while the neck is too bright...
