    Lovely bird! How long did you wait for it? I ask because we are missing feet and I would have preferred some separation between the bill and the rock. Was it warbling? :-)

    Ian:

    Jaunty pose, well exposed. Noise showing up esp. in the darker areas. Nice job holding sharpness with this shutter speed.

    Agree with Jay,that seeing the feet would be an added bonus.

    I would probably tone down the brightness of the white wash on rocks.

    Beautiful bird and nice image of it. I rarely see it even in migration.
