    It is a very dificult specie, all time in the shadow creeping fast and flying

    speed 1/13 (no tripod)

    A fine looking bird this is, I don't recall seeing one before. Nice tree it has clung to, and I like the matching greens between it and the BG. There is one large very bright area in said BG that should be toned down as it tends to pull the eye. Subject looks well focused, but just a hair soft for web posting.

    Such low SS, and you say no tripod...was your gear braced in some other way?

    No, the Sigma 150-500 have an excelent image stabilization system, and i use many "long lens technics": breathing control, arms position, camera very resting on the face, legs open, body leaning against a tree and Gently press the button.

    Very nice image. The only nit I have is it looks like there is a little posterization around the highlight in the background.
