    Nice looking bird. I like the colors of this image and the way the "sharp" FG water fades into the soft BG. I'd take out the little spot that looks like dust just off the tail.

    A very nice image, John. The bird has a nice pose, the exposure is good, and I really like the water. I agree with Steve about the spot behind the bird.

    I like this one, too. The sharpness looks better, there is just a slight sharpening halo around the bill.

    Thanks for the comments! You're right about the spot behind the tail. Pretty sure it is a fly and not a dust spot. But it should go. JR
