    Yes, spring has sprung and the wildflowers are blooming. This is from a local trail where hundreds of these are growing. Painted in PS using mixer brushes. Two textures and a canvas effect applied.

    You've become a master of the mixers. Beyond that, the flower is the center of attention because of the color and placement, but the green oval going through it and the stem with the unopened bloom pointing at it give a subtle emphasis to it. Very, very nice.

    Nice image and application, Kerry. Like the painterly effect and canvas. Lighting is very nice as well.

    Beautiful job painting this, Kerry. I love the delicacy and glow and colors. It feels like a little wildflower growing in the grass or woods. The flower is nicely balanced by the graceful curving stem to the left with the bud. I might crop some from top and right, but like it as is.
