    Default Great Egret Courtship

From High Island Rookery two weeks ago. The place was filled with activity. I'm not too crazy about the crop proportions: this is just about full height, cropped from both sides to cut out some other distracting oof birds. But I thought the pose was a keeper.

Yes, I agree with Joe, a beauty. The strong pose and action is riveting and I hardly noticed the busy background or the crop. Definitely a keeper. Regards, Ian

Bill, love the interaction and the details on the white. The interaction is great and you had both in sharp focus. Not crazy about the crop either, but still it is a keeper. Loi

Bill, You captured a beautiful moment. I really like the bright green in front of the eyes. The strength of the courtship more than compensates for the busy background.

Agree with everyone else here. The strong expression and the moment captures attention more than anything. Great job!
