This image was found on our recent visit to the Great Smoky Mountains NP.

It was processed in Photoshop, Topaz and Fract 2, including; Photoshop Oil Painting, Canvas Texture, Topaz Denoise, Lens Effects with a little Fog to give it some softness, among other filters in LE.

I like what you've done with this -- the colors, the texture, and composition. Using fog for softness sounds like a good idea.

Very nice Mark, one of my favorites of yours. It doesn't hurt that the Trillium is Ontario's provincial flower.

Thanks Dennis and Paul for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Had I known it was your favorite flower Paul, I might have posted the wild pansies! We did find some that my wife insisted I shoot. Those buggers were small and way down on the ground. So, my back was shot, when I got done setting up for the macro shot!

Wonderful composition. I like the little insect on the petal. The light on the flower is gorgeous. I might not have used such heavy processing, but it certainly works well here.
