    A handsome subject! It looks nicely sharp, although you could be on thin ice at that SS, depending on how rock-solid the tripod and how still the subject. But it's what I would think of as a good balance of ISO and aperture. That's one where I would try to shoot several quick exposures -- one may be sharper than the rest.

    I'd have a look at a re-process with slightly lower contrast. There is a noise-reduction look to the dark body -- I'd expect to be able to pull out more detail. But maybe it's just that it's out of the DOF.
