    Nice exposure and interesting pose! And looks like you got good depth of field. The head looks sharp, and focus falloff on the tail is much less so that I would expect. Possibly it is somewhat concealed by the angle. Good work!

    What would you think about cropping from the top and bottom a little? Especially for presentation here, it would give you a bigger subject. I'd also consider cloning out the out of focus lighter branch in the lower left corner, and the two lighter areas just along the left edge, high and low. The one coming in toward the bird's head doesn't bother me, as it fades out before it gets to the bird.

    Thanks Dianne. Agree with you on a tighter crop & cloning out of the OOF branches. Thanks for your suggestions.
