I don't have much experience with Landscapes or Cityscapes at all but would love to do more. I shot this image while on a business trip in Louisville on a very windy and chilly October evening. I was standing in Indiana shooting across the Ohio River. At the time I only had a very, very cheap tripod so it certainly was a challenge with the wind.

    C&C welcomed!

    Thanks for looking,
    David

Join the club on needing to do more cityscapes, David (though I don't think our SA cities qualify for proper cityscapes, not enough skyscrapers haha).
I like the lighting and the smooth water here. Good colour too. Can't find much to nitpick on here, would have loved to see it bigger though!

    Hi David

This is very nice, especially since the water and the sky compliment nicely. There is a streak in the sky (aircraft lights..) top LHS that I would remove. To improve, if you had got to this spot about 20 minutes earlier I think there would be a little more detail under the bridge and on the now black buildings which I would have preferred to see, but what you have got is very nice anyway.. Well done

Thank you Ron, your comments are much appreciated! Also, thanks for noticing aircraft light I will remove it.

I hope to get back to Louisville sometime this year and make another attempt and try to bring in some details in the buildings and bridge.

Hi David, a lovely evening city-scape. Beautiful light and smoothness to the river. The Ohio is one mighty river...I have passed over it a few times during drives down to Nashville, TN
