Default Caller ID - "Blue Goose"?

This fine fellow was imaged at the local bird sanctuary, and is a new one to me. My best guess on ID is that this is a juvi dark morph snow goose (blue goose) born last year and still changing his plumage to the adult pattern. His bill was quite striking.

    Post: Full frame, selective sharpening.

A bit tight in the frame, but wanted to show details to help with ID.

    Identification and comments appreciated.

    Cheers

Beautiful shot, Randy! Love the exposure and the color contrast! I think it's a juvenile Snow Goose.

Beautifully sharp image, Randy. Agree re the bill, it certainly is striking, with a very intricate structure.

Beautiful shot Randy! I think it might be an in-between juvenile/adult Blue Goose. According to Sibleys, the juvenile Blue Goose would be completely dark.

Nice pose head turn and interesting plumage. Raymond is right about the ID.

In this case I agree, tight frame works, I like the detail very much. All looks good to me. TFS
