    Taken the other day on my local river,cannon500mm F4 IS,7D,tripod,ISO800,1/800S,F6.3,cropped,sharpened for web,touch levels.

    A little cutie! I love the foot positions on the rock. Nice placement in the frame and I like the pebbled environment. Of course there just had to be a rock or two obstructing the reflection. Another option would be to crop from below just leaving the legs part of the reflection + the oof rock just below it.

    Very smart image, Chris. That eye ring really pops and the reflection is very sharp.

    Nice complimentary colors throughout. I like the details and the reflection as well, too bad about the oof rock. Super yellow ring around a nice, sharp eye.

    Beautiful composition, light, colors and reflection! I wish the rock that is blocking the part of the reflection was not there!

    Great shot! I also wish that rock was not in the way in the reflection. The fore- and background seem a bit noisy on my screen, I would also consider doing some noise reduction while maintaining the details on the bird and the focused boulders.

    Chris I have really enjoyed your Plover shots,this one with the reflection is the top's for me ,excellent shot.
