I created this at Point-Pelee last week. We saw that bird falling down into the water in Woodland trail. As I was about to jump in to rescues it, it was able to flight t aways but some of difficulty. 15 minutes later we decide to have look if we could find it. It was just about 50 feet's where it feel down. The bird was taken to main office of the park because after taking few pictures, they where at lease 75 peoples around him... this bird seem to be exhausted of crossing the lake.

If you stop some where with your gear at Point-Pelee be sure to attract some crowd...

    Thanks for looking!

Great find, details and BG and thanks for sharing the story. I might crop a bit off the left and give it more room at the right. Could you post some techs?

Excellent capture Francis. Agree with Axel on the suggested crop. Removing the lighter tone bark will make a difference.

I like the captured mood. Little guy does look miserable. Hoping the best for him !!!

What a terrific opportunity you were presented with!! Good stuff! I'm sure the little guy is doing fine now. I'm trying to figure out the eye, what is the white on it, caused by somebody else's flash? Anyhow very cool image of a species not often seen from such proximity with no hand of man elements included :-)
