    I was testing my 2X TX III extender on my 500 II and 5D3 & i must say I am so pleased with it! The AF is quick & precise though restricted to centre point only.

    That's a pose with an attitude! Nice catch! And very impressive performance from the lens + TC combination!

    The perch competes a little, but you take what you get. I always find it hard to be sure here, but is the head a little less sharp than the feathers on the lower belly? Were you able to focus on the head and recompose or was it one of those fleeting moments?

    You have reason to be pleased Sanjeev. I would never have guessed that tere was a 2x TC invlved in this pic - it's as clear as can be! Nice one!

    Maybe a little more room at the bottom, and clone out the stem in front of the tail.

    Excellent capture. I'm looking at this on a crummy monitor at work, but it looks tack sharp to me here. I see what Diane means about the perch, but it doesn't bother me.
