    Default Gambel's Quail

I got this one from the front seat of my vehicle, using the window for support. This is the best head angle of the session. Just a bit of sharpening and saturation, nothing to clone. I was going to clean the bg but left it as is. Not sure about the crop. Thanks for looking...tom

Very nice pose, details and BG. I might tone down the perch a bit. Did you do something with the catchlight? It looks quite big.

I like that the bg compliments the subtle colors of the bird. Nice pose as well.

    Hi Alex,
Nothing done to the catchlight. Aside from the little sharpening and saturation, this image is pretty much out-of-the-box...tom

Nice image Thomas! like the background! like the bird up on the perch! just the perch needs to be toned down some.

Nice photo Thomas. I'm not sure about the tilting perch; it kind of reminds me of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. No one else has mentioned it though, so maybe it's just me. Thanks for posting.
