    Jonathan it's good to see these birds back, cracking BG you have got this bird against,bird looks very good on that prickly perch.

    Great BG on this one, Jonathan...the light looks tricky, but I think you have just about nailed the exposure and a nice amount of detail has been captured.

    The BG is great, but the light is a bit harsh on the bird (not your fault, just the hour of the day). I would also like a bit of eye contact.

    Hi Jon
    Missed this earlier . I reckon the head could do with a lttle more USM. I don't usually go for plain backdrops but this looks OK. Some nice "reedy " oof stems would sort of put the bird in place, Just my humble opinion.
    One of my borey birds but we don't get them in the forest !!!

    Hi Jon, nice clean image. I tend, however, to agree that something else in the BG would take this image even further. Thanks for sharing as this is a great bird.
