Spoonbill Jump Off
Roseate Spoonbill jumping off from out of the salt marsh last week.

Image shot as jpeg with minimal post processing.
The lighting conditions were fairly awful, this was taken right after sunset.
Due to low light I had a 70-200 2.8 (old non IS version) on a 7D shooting at 1/1000 3.5 and 800 ISO
The bird was rather close and I wanted to be sure not to cut off wings if he jumped off so I backed the lens down to 115mm
and this is maybe a 30% crop.
Photobucket is not doing me any favors on the upload detail and that's pretty much the end of my excuses. heh heh
