    It is a Hydrangea. My in laws have some bushes growing around there house. I have found getting a spray bottle and misting water on these can create some nice images on overcast days.

    Like this shot I am not usually keen on dark backgrounds but it works for me this time. Excellent detail in the flower heads.

    Hi Terry. This worked out quite well for a flower shot in the sunlight and I like the natural vignette look. Also, good exposure, overall sharpness, and DOF. You might consider toning down some of the small bright areas near the outer edges of the frame that pull my eye away from your subjects. Very well done!
