I like the details in the bird and the bird's position. The bg colors changing from blue to greenish gold work well as the line is at the level of the leaves, and carries the colors of the leaves upward.

Stuart, Willets are beginning to return to SE Idaho, a sure sign a spring. I like the pose with good exposure and feather detail. The blue to green transition of the bg is pleasing. I would try a little tighter crop with a bit off the top and right side. I am not fond of the texture.

Looks like the oil paint filter in PS, nice use of it! The bird really pops in the image. I agree to a bit of a crop from the upper right corner.
