Hullo everyone, here is one from just recently, the Lady of the pair the live somewhere nearby. A beautiful Lady she is, the branch in back probably would help not being there but I usually make it worse removing so in it is. Hope you all like..

Bret I know what you mean( the branch in back probably would help not being there but I usually make it worse removing so in it is.)the bird itself looks very good to me, lots of nice sharp detail and a good clean BG.

    Keith.

I'll say she's a beautiful lady, Bret. I like all the details, nice head turn, tail bracing on the branch and foot grab. The branch in the back isn't that distracting, but I wanted to see what the image would look like without it. So I hope you don't mind that I worked on it a bit in cs6. I selected the branch in the back and used content aware, did some touch up with clone tool, some healing brush, blur tool, and took the liberty of running a bit of NR in Nik. I also softened the dark area near the two hair like feathers sticking out from center of her back. I still feel it's a super image as you posted it.

Geoffrey, I agree, it looks much better with that branch removed. One of these days I will grow up and learn layers
