We have a delightful park nearby with all sorts of flowers. I saw my first snowdrops this year there.

I like the composition and abstract quality you achieved. The overlapping of the darker colors into the light petals is marvelous. Very nicely done.

This image is growing on me the more I look at it. Gorgeous colors and nice shapes. I like the simplification and the texture-- unique. Although I like the purple, the brightness of it pulls my eye away from the white flowers, which are the focus of the image. Very creative work.

Hi, Jackie, I like the abstraction of the flowers. I'm conflicted about the bright purple flower in the background. I'll come back later and see how I feel about it.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a candle. Opening it, I found this beautiful flower, glowing as a candle. Nice quality. I too am conflicted about the purple. The color adds to the depth of the picture, but maybe a slight cropping into it would allow the color to be there and yet focus the eye on the beautiful whites.

Like Hazel, the thumbnail looked like a bulb or candle light source. I love this one for it's strong composition and luminescence. The Purple might be a little "Hot" but the tone offsets and balances the greens and oranges in the remainder of the image very well. Might try toning it down a hair, and cropping slightly from the left edge. Simple and strong this one is.

Here is a rework with the purple darkened and desaturated a bit. Better?

I've gone back and forth between the two versions. I think I prefer the OP. However, I still find the purple distracting. I'd like to see this processing on a photo of the white crocus without the purple one in the frame. I think it would be a lovely image.
