    New Years morning 2014 in a boat on Kabini Reserviour, Karnataka, India. Fiddled with in Camera Raw: deepened blacks, desaturated a bit and ran clarity back to about a quarter. Sharpened in CS5 with Focus Magic. The 'mist' is unfortunately India's all pervasive smog. The 100-400 is not really a landscape lens, I was there for wildlife and saw this shot so grabbed it.

    Hi Colin
    I think this is a great shot...! I like the layered bg and the large tree remnants anchoring the shot.. I think B&W works well here.

    Nice shot, like the mood with the fog and the silhouettes of the trees. Very dark mood.

    I like the mood a lot here, and nice use of tonality in the layers.
    For a fine art print I would consider removing the distant stumps between the three main stumps on the left?
