I love this shot Alan and its probably one of your best setups. I love the OOF elements in the image that create depth and make for a more natural looking scene. Very nice work as always

See why its called "painted " bunting Alan Certainly an eye catching shot. I agree the elements other than the bird make for a better setting.

Beautiful bird and image Alan. Amazing colours! Just IMO a bit of a pity that the tail is obscured.

Sweet! A term oft overused, but certainly applies to this one. Wonderful colors, perch.

Hi Alan, what a lovely colourful setting, from the bunting and surrounding flowers. I feel the central placement works well.

What a beautiful setup to go with this beautiful bird! Great look-back pose. I'd be tempted to lower the luminosity of the three oof flowers in front of the face, but an oh-so appealing image!!

wonderful pose, colors, details and a gorgeous perch. I have a bit mixed feelings about the OOF flowers in the BG, I wish they were a bit farther from the bird

I actually like the OOF flowers in the BG and I was going to point out that this shot is one of one your more natural looking set up shots. The OOF flowers making it that. The balance is beautiful and I love the colors and detail. Well done Alan

I guess the OOF flower is a very personal thing here. I wish it wasn't there or if it was farther from the bird. Colors are magic and the perfection has your signature all over it. Well done as always.
