Default Tip Toeing across the water.

This Black Bellied Duck was coming in to the water when I managed in one of my frames to capture the 'toes' skiing across the water. Taken at my local pond last weekend in early morning light.

Stuart the trailing feet and the water droplets on the bird make this for me.

    Stuart:

I always think the toe dragging moment makes for a fun image, well timed. The slight angle of the bird towards us is good, and although not much of the back wing shows, it does add a bit more sense of depth to the image. Red bill adds a punch of color and the drops are a plus.

    Cheers

Very nice one Stu. Love how you captured the nails barely touching the water. Nice light and wing position also.

Great timing, excellent pose and nice detail, Stuart. The toes skimming the water is a very nice feature.

Stuart, I like everything about this, I myself am a fan of feet beginnning to create a trail on smooth water.

Light , exposure , colors, the outstretched wings, water drops on the bird and sharpness, I like it all..
