This individual and three others flew unusually close to the ground,
providing me and opportunity to have other than blue or white background.
    They had a territorial dispute.
    Thanks for looking.

Great action here Karl - love the talons out and a subtle interesting BG. Is there some BG artefact left on the RH corner?

I like the unusual pose, exposure, wing tips and complimentary BG. Nice image Karl.

Great action, I like the way the light comes through the tail and also the bark BG that makes your bird stand out so well, very nice Karl.

Love this Karl. It looks like it's trying to stop before it fly's into you. I wouldn't change anything.

Hi Karl, quite a comical approach pose with those wide open eyes. The BG compliments the osprey nicely. I only wish the left talons ( right as you look )were not against part of the tail.

That is a very unique pose you got here, quite dynamic and also whimsical. Exposure looks good, but wondering if you needed to bring up the shadows under the wings as there is colour noise there. In any case, a fun image!!

I would say you nailed it. It is hard enough to frame a pleasing image within a second ... but you need to get rid of the artifacts on the RH

I like the pose, the osprey is oversharpened and noisy as a result. good BG
